About the Artist

Kathryn's journey with art ignited the moment she first laid crayon to paper. With a solid foundation from public school education she sought individual training in sculpture and figure drawing to hone her craft. Her passion for the arts led her to earn a BA  in Studio Art from the University of Colorado at Denver.

Always eager to push the boundaries of her medium, Kathryn explores new possibilities to create a visceral impact on her audience through expressive brushstrokes, thick layers of paint, and vibrant hues. In 2019 she showcased her talent in the Piccolo Spoleto Juried Art Exhibition at the Charleston City Gallery. From 2019 to 2021, her works adorned the walls of Mount Pleasant's Town Hall, and in June 2023, she held a solo exhibit at the Park Circle Gallery in North Charleston.

Kathryn is an exhibiting member of both the Charleston and Mount Pleasant Artist Guilds. Kathryn continues to captivate collectors and remains open to private commissions.

Stay tuned to this website for all the upcoming festivals and exhibits she has going on.
